The bankmecu Student Scholarship recognises a student who is considered by the invited speaker
to be outstanding in the speaker’s field of research.
This year, following Brian Schmidt’s nomination, CAASTRO congratulates PhD student Morag
Scrimgeour (based at ICRAR – UWA) for being named the 2012 winner.
Morag will receive her award on the night of the lecture, giving a brief presentation of her project
and attending a dinner afterwards with many distinguished guests in attendance.
